Registration
To register for the conference, please complete the registration form using the link below:
During the online registration process, participants intending to present their work at the Conference will have the opportunity to upload an abstract of their presentation. The registration form includes "Additional Notes" field, where participants may provide any relevant details for the conference organizers.
PhD students and Students are requested to indicate their status by entering either "PhD student" or "Student" in the "Additional Notes" field.
No payment is required at the time of registration. The conference fee may be paid at any time before the applicable deadline.

Conference fees can be paid in two currencies: Polish złoty (PLN) or Euros (EUR).

- The fee for a Regular Participant and a PhD student / Student includes full access to all sessions, conference materials, coffee breaks, lunches and social events, such as the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner.
- After registration as a PhD student / Student, a proof of student status (e.g., a scanned copy of a PhD student / Student ID card or an equivalent document) must be submitted via the conference official email address: fmc2026@info.p.lodz.pl.
- The fee for an Accompanying person includes access to all social events, such as the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner.
- The fee does not include accommodation.
- Each paid participant at FMC 2026 may present only one presentation or poster. Participants may author multiple abstracts, but may only present one of them.
Payment Information
Please make sure to select your preferred currency during the payment process. Fees in all currencies other than Polish zloty and Euro should be calculated based on the current exchange rate. The exact rate depends on your bank. Any additional banking charges, including currency conversion costs and other transaction fees, must be covered by the participant.
All prices are gross amounts and include the applicable VAT where required.
Cancellation Policy
If a paid registration is cancelled before 30.04.2026 then 50% of the registration fee will be reimbursed. After this date, the registration fee cannot be reimbursed.

Instructions for Presenters
The official conference language is English. The Conference presentations will consist of invited lectures, oral presentations and poster presentations.

Preparing the presentation files in the Portable Document Format (*.pdf) or Microsoft PowerPoint files (*.ppt/*.pps/*.pptx/*.ppsx) is strongly recommended.
Files containing presentations should be delivered either to the conference email address (fmc2026@info.p.lodz.pl) two days before the start of the conference, or to the Session Room on the day of the presentation (during coffee breaks) via USB drives.
The files should be named by the ID number of the accepted abstract followed by the Author's surname. The presentation computers will be equipped with Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Poster Presentation
- The poster dimensions should not exceed 100 cm in height and 70 cm in width.
- Posters should be displayed on the first day of FMC 2026 and removed on the final day of the conference.
- A label on the corresponding board will identify your poster place.
- Poster teaser presentations are planned for 3 minutes.
Abstracts & Papers
Abstracts
Researchers interested in contributing to FMC 2026 are invited to submit a two-page extended abstract electronically via the conference registration system no later than December 31, 2025.

All submissions will be reviewed by the FMC 2026 International Scientific Committee. Authors will be notified of the acceptance decision by February 2, 2026.
Accepted abstracts will be distributed during the Conference and published on the official conference website.
Papers
Authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged to submit full-length papers to the journals listed below, based on the reviewers' recommendations:
All submitted manuscripts will be subject to the standard peer-review process of these journals.
When submitting your article to the journal's editorial office, please indicate in the cover letter that the paper was presented at the FMC 2026 conference.
Prof. J.W. Elsner Competition for Young Researchers
In keeping with the tradition of the Fluid Mechanics Conference, the Competition in Memory of Prof. Janusz W. Elsner for the best scientific work in fluid mechanics will be held under the auspices of PTMTS (Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics) and the Polish Pilot Centre of ERCOFTAC (European Research Community on Flow, Turbulence and Combustion).
The competition aims to promote the research achievements of outstanding young scientists in the field of fluid mechanics. Authors, up to 35 years of age, either M.Sc. or recent Ph.D. graduates who have defended their Ph.D. thesis not earlier than 2 years before the date of the paper submission are invited to participate in the prestigious competition.
Researchers interested in participating in the Competition are requested to submit a two-page extended abstract electronically via the conference registration system. In the "Additional Notes" field, please indicate: Prof. J.W. Elsner Competition.
